Having to do it behind everyones back

I almost went for a teammate but just the fact that they are a teammate puts me off. Went with Tae Takemi. Of course that has its own problems.

Im just imagining how awkward it is in universe. Especially the fact that the dynamic is ruined if you guys break up

There's that saying, 'don't shit where you eat'? That's why I always go for the real queen hifumi or the goth doctor, she has the best voice. Makoto voice actress fans can piss off. Though I do like female V from cyberpunk.

Its just a shame they don't let you date sae.

If you date multiple teammates, they somehow never suspect a thing until they just happen to see you with someone else on Valentine's. Only Morgana ever knows what you get up to at night.

The question is "dating one". There's no reason if you are only dating 1 girl that it wouldn't be known about with the group.

I went for Hifumi in my current play through. Went with Makoto the first time though

The best is when you date in Persona 4 (end game spoilers!) The final dungeon is a warped version of your town. And one of the areas looks just like your room. If you date both Chie and Yukiko, they both comment on it and then they realize that they've both seen what your room looks like and they stand in awkward silence as their realization kicks in. They don't confront you though.

True. I feel like the only reason it isn't acknowledged is because they don't want to create new story dialogue for all of the possibilities.

I went with Takemi first time around, but did Futaba 2nd time. I know people are like "but muh little sister!" and all but she's just so frickin' cute, and also generally cooler and more fun than the playable girls, and stronger than she thinks she is, besides. The only issue is that the main character looks shifty - but he's just an avatar really, and *I* gotta root for Futaba being happy.

4 seems like it would work. rise is all over yu in the regular game story, where everyone else kinda has their own thing going on outside of yu.

Did it twice with Persona 4 (Yukiko, and then Rise), but for P5, I opted to look outward. As Batman once said: "Dating within the team always leads to disaster."

You cant even date best girl Yusuke in P5

If you could date the dudes. The clear winner is Ryuji. He'd be all like "no homo, though, right bro?" all the way through, and later on he'd be like "Duuuuude. That WAS homo!". He's so endearingly dumb and earnest.

Yusuke is a contender, but he definitely be the bottom.

Not when he puts you in the lobster position.

The fact that any romance is ignored by the entire main plot and all the time you hangout with the other Phantom Thieves is a huge flaw IMHO.

Besides, Tae is easily the hottest woman in the entire series.

I romanced everyone except Futaba because she's like 13 and that's icky.

Imagine dating all of them at the same time.

^Futaba's a great character, but she's clearly more fitting for a little sister role than a romance.

I did feel kinda guilty getting with Morgana's crush but that fucker deserves it for all the times he made me go to bed early.

Hey they at least had that one little dialogue towards the end of the game where you can mention to the group that you want to get married and the party member you're dating will react to that.

Better than Strikers not importing save data to know who you dated. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN YOU'VE NEVER BEEN ON A DATE MAKOTO YOU'RE LITERALLY MY GIRLFRIEND

Yeah I kind of wish characters would bring it up. Though it was only a minor thing I remember Junpei in 3 commenting on who you're dating

I dated them all (except the dudes .. sorry) just to try to keep things fair.

Spoiler: they still werent happy.

It sure is a shame we have to keep this relationship secret so the developers don't need to write more lines and dialogue for the main game.

It sure is a shame that my character development needs to be ignored in the main story because tying that to S.Links/Confidants was fucking stupid and once again Persona 3 got it 100% right

It happened in FES as well. I was out with another girl and Yuko showed up and got pissed. Caught me off guard, because I didn't know it was a thing at that point lol.

Which makes it stupid that you're automatically forced into a relationship if you progress their Social Links past a certain point.

You ran into the cheating thing. When it gives you the notification about them getting jealous, you have 60 days to see them again or it reverses, and it goes down by 15 days each time you see a different romanceable girl, so i think you get 3 dates and a 4th one will put you over

That ride back to Joker's home must be super awkward if you were banging everyone like I was >_>
