2 parents and their kids drove past an erratic driver. They slowed to film the vehicle to get descriptions for the cops. The erratic driver, now known to be a mayor, shot his gun multiple times at the family. He's now behind bars.

He was later charged with a seperate charge of child endangerment, after kidnapping a child in the 80's to get his hands on a treasure map to a sunken ship off the coast of California. He was foiled by a talking skateboard at the time, but considering his continued danger to others, prosecutors decided that now would be the best time to charge him and get him behind bars.
