In 2020 Sweden had the 12th highest BNP in the world, but our richest Region (Stockholm) would be 4th while the poorest (Sdermanland) would be 27th. Sure, living in Stockholm is much more expensive than the other Regions but it still is too high a difference and it keeps growing. The Nationalist party did extremely well in the poorer Regions this election. I dont want a development like that in the USA with super rich cities and poor countryside who are deeply divided.
