More of the latter tbh, in that each game picks up not directly after the end of the previous one like Halo 3 did for Halo 2. Example: Halo 5 ends with basically the entirety of the UNSC AIs helping cortana take over the universe. Halo 6 picks up with the Banished faction led by atriox already having pounded cortana's faction into oblivion and suddenly atriox is the main bad guy again. --- I'm a greener egg than the eggs from dr. seuss <cite>Emeraldegg posted [p:966595456] in Anyone els...
