I think Huntail and Gorebyss are the default answers so that kind of kills their chances.
Swalot's a good shout. Maybe Spoink/Grumpig too. Chimeco only seems to have being hard to find on Mt Pyre going for it too.

Gorebyss. Or the other one, the monstrous looking one. They both evolve from a Clamperl, but the pink bloodsucker one gets more attention because its colour is due to the blood it drinks. The uglier/more badass one never gets any attention.

I mean I don't even know if Gorebyss is its actual name.

Edit: yeah it's called Huntail. Most forgettable mon by far.

I just did a 151 quiz to see what the last one I would remember would be.

Apparently, Lickitung and Ditto are my most forgettable pokemon. I never remembered them before giving up. My last ten were:

10th - Psyduck
9th - Golduck
8th - Exeggcute
7th - Exeggcutor
6th - Krabby
5th - Kingler
4th - Cloyster
3rd - Shellder
1st (Tie) - Ditto
1st (Tie) - Lickitung

Really shocked I forgot these two. Especially Ditto. I sat here for actually a couple of hours trying to remember what I was missing. I think Lickitung is more forgettable to me than Ditto ultimately, so I'd say Lickitung for Gen 1.

The legend himself Miror B has a shadow Sudowoodo.
Had an episode in the show where they gave him a stupid voice and tried very hard to make you associate him with the move mimic.

Huntail and gorebyss are probably the best candidates mentioned so far. It doesn't help that they were a pain in the ass to get and iirc you could only get one of their evolution items per playthrough, so you probably weren't going to have them both anyway.

Tropius is also pretty forgettable imo. It's a single stage mon and I don't remember any notable trainers using it. At least it's kinda cool though.

Also tyrogue. It's interesting in that it has branching evolution, but its design is blah and don't even think about it when the Hitmons come up.

Girafarig is actually a beast in gen 2, a guy I watch that does solo runs has it as the fastest gen 2 Pokemon he's used so far

I can only speak for Gens 1 and 2, but I remember replaying one of the gen 2 games years ago and saw Lanturn and was very confused. I don't ever remember seeing one before and I've had all the G2 games at one point and played them since they came out. Same with Chinchou. Never heard anyone talk about them either so they must be pretty forgettable
