Places like Disney are absolutely made for kids. Regular coasters aren't.

If anything I'd say a lot of rollercoasters explicitly skew toward older audiences

I disagree. Roller Coasters are fun for all ages. If someone has to insist that they don't like a hobby because "it's for kids" then just tell them "that sounds like a you problem"

For me it's the case of physical constitution

I used to love the rides when I was younger. I dont remember exactly when that changed but definitely by the time I was in my 30s

I'm 41 now

I haven't been on a thrill ride in years, and the last time was very uncomfortable. I just can't handle intense speed and vertigo and stuff like that anymore

Sort of? If you see anyone over 30 at an amusement park they're usually with their kids or part of a group that brought their kids, I pretty much never heard of a group of 30+ year olds going to those parks by themselves. But it doesn't mean they can't get enjoyment out of the rides.

Well now you have. My friends and I have gone to amusement parks 3 times in the last 12 months (and we plan to go to another after the summer crowds end). Our ages are 27, 33, 35, 36 and 40. No kids present, just adults enjoying rides and having a good time.

This

Where I work tons of childless people buy season passes to amusement parks, get plastered, and enjoy the rides.

^ I know they exist but it's not that common I wouldn't think but maybe I'm wrong. But regardless there's nothing really wrong with it.

As far as me personally I worked at an amusement park before and after my experiences I don't think I've been a patron at any since then, which was 15 years ago. No real desire anymore but with a kid coming in January I'll probably bring them somewhere in a few years when they're big enough to ride decent rides. Definitely not going to the one I worked at though lol

For kids that are too young and don't meet the height/weight requirements? What are you smoking TC?

Exactly, me an my partner will go at like 11:00am on a Wed duirng the first month of opening when schools are still in, get like 20 rides in over the course of the day, no wait, and can just go blaze in the parking lot when we feel like taking a break. Good times.

No worries. My post wasn't meant to be hostile in any way. You were clearly speaking from personal experience, not saying that we don't exist, period.

I do happen to have a 7 year old. But when I take him to an amusement park, that's a trip for him. He's still terrified of coasters, so not a lot of riding there lol. But with my friend group, we ride everything and I love that.
