Let's say she looks pretty good and she seems fairly nice. But some aspect about her is considered a major turn off and frequently holds her back when it comes to dating.

What would that be?

Recent ex was nice but she didn't want to work and expected me to pay for everything but also wanted to make all the financial decisions and didn't want to do house work so that was a turn off. I firmly believe everyone in a household should contribute. Both people should cook, clean and pay bills. I don't want a slave or adult child. Obviously if your partner is handicapped in some way that would stop them from doing any of those things it's understandable.

Most people don't want to be romantically involved with someone who, for example, believes black people shouldn't be allowed to vote or that the LGBT community need to be killed or oppressed. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I dated a conservative Filipino. Was all well and fine, just didn't discuss politics, until we had a pregnancy scare lol. Her immovable position from being anti abortion made me so furious it killed all romance and we broke up. We'd known each other a month but she refused to even take the morning after pill or anything. Luckily she wasn't pregnant in the end

It was weird because I know pro choice is meant to mean pro women's choice not necessarily pro abortion but I couldn't understand why she thought it'd be a good idea to risk have a kid with someone she barely knew.

Anyway I've rambled but shared politics can have real world consequences, it's not all just topics you can permanently avoid

Youre actually completely wrong on this one. There are plenty of young people who dont go into a relationship with each other because theyre political views dont match. I hear about it all the time as a college student from my classmates. Even I dont date women who vote Republican anymore.

It sounds like youre the one who needs to get out more honestly. You should also stop projecting.

We're talking about men in general and you're trying to make it a personal matter. I didn't list my personal dealbreakers because that's not what the topic's asking; there is no "these reasons arre important than those reasons" claim, just a claim that men on average aren't picky enough to collectively shun a woman over stuff like hobbies and political views.

Yeah, herpes and HPV are both everywhere. HPV is worse as it can cause cancer in women if they aren't vaccinated. Otherwise, generally doesn't do much.

Major deabreaker for me. Half the world might have, like, cold herpes, but genital herpes can't be so common here in the States.

About 67% of the world population under the age of 50 has HSV-1. In the United States, about 47.8% and 11.9% are believed to have HSV-1 (cold sores) and HSV-2 (genital), respectively.

So yeah, you are correct.

Literally who said that? This all started because I said that for many people politics is a dealbreaker. That is a fact and nowhere did I say that differing politics has to mean "two extremes."

It's consistently hilarious how your hate-boner for me is so big that you just throw logic out the window to whine about literally anything I post lol.
