Like, theyve convinced themselves that they view a fetus as a person and therefore abortion as murder but they dont act that way at all. If I knew that hundreds of thousands of babies were being legally murdered every day, Id be up-in-arms, but all I see is pro-lifers acting civilly toward pro-choicers and most even agree to make exceptions in cases like rape and incest (is the life of a baby less important than the feelings of their mother, but not the autonomy of their mother?). Dont get me wrong, Im glad they do act civilly. Im pro-choice and, in general, I dont want to see anyone get hurt or any buildings burned down. Its just that thats what Id expect to see a lot more of if pro-lifers really had the convictions they say they do. Like... have better sex ed, better access to contraception, better support for those who would like to keep the kid but don't have the financial means and/or skills to do so, and those will prevent far more abortions than a ban ever could.
