Here is what I can share about the new Fire Emblem game.

- Upcoming Fire Emblem is a new game, not a remake. Brand new story.

- Collaboration between Intelligent Systems, Koei Tecmo and Gust (division of Koei Tecmo Holdings).

- Gust heavily assisted with the visuals / graphics. Graphics are an improvement over "Three Houses".

- Originally intended as an anniversary game to celebrate FE's 30th anniversary. The game has been finished for over a year.

- Main character (main lord) has strange red and blue hair. His mother is a dragon.

- New "Emblems" gimmick allows players to summon "FE characters from the past" for your squad.

Thats a pattern I dont like. Release the games Nintendo. Youve got gaps to fill with BotW2 delayed into 2023 anyways now

I know this leaker has some credibility and a track record, so I'm inclined to believe this is a thing. Worth noting, though, that that screenshot (and the other pics that are around) just came from some other rando, though, who also claimed they were very early - so those might be better taken with more of a grain of salt.

I'm gonna reserve judgment on the "Emblems" thing until we know more. It sounds awful but it might be something like the Awakening gimmick that you can completely ignore if you want to. My number one hope is for no Avatar, but I'm not incredibly optimistic there.

Is Emily Rogers actually the leaker or did she piggyback on somebody elses leak? If shes the leaker, then Id have to assume its fake, because I cant think of a single leak she has originated that was actually correct.

The same person (I think) who leaked these pics said there's a Genealogy remake in the works. Part of what makes me suspect they're from a Chinese knock off game or an elaborate hoax or something because that's way too "I'll just throw in what people want so they'll believe me"

All I hope is that awful hair aint a real design. Its like somebody challenged someone to make worse hair than SMTVs protagonist and they came up with this lol

The hair is so stupid it loops back around to being kinda great

Also it makes me think the game is set in Future Elibe because that character is definitely a descendent of Roy and Lilina.

That Joycon hair is so silly, I don't know if I could handle this being real

It could be the hairstyle is always that color but is a customizable designs.

Changing the style would be for the best. If they had to keep the colors they couldve just done all blue with a red streak

It just....has to be a custom character.

If it's a custom character then sure.

Female Byleth has a bad design but the picture just posted might be the worst outfit I've ever seen in a main character. I literally would not play a game where I'm expected to control that for 50 hours.

i really hope it's a fake knockoff and not a real fire emblem game. pictures don't look appealing. and they don't seem to line up with what's reported (better graphics, etc.)

it really does have that knockoff feel to it. the graphics absolutely do not look better than three houses

I agree, though beating F!Byleth's outfit is an extremely easy feat.

I'm guessing that this is an avatar and there's a male version too. Good thing too, since it'll be hard for him to have an even worse design.

We should all be prepared that this could be real. Low expectations mean no disappointment!

OK the reactions over the outfit are kinda ridiculous. Doesn't look any worse than the usual Fire Emblem designs.
