Anxious was the opener and even though I had listened to their album before I was really impressed with them live. Bayside was next and according to my records, this was the 9th time I have seen them live, so I knew what I was getting, they always put on a good show. Was kind of odd seeing them not as the headliner, so they really didn't play that many songs. One thing that stuck out during their set was how old the crowd was. Everyone in their mid 30s, so there really wasn't much of a pit or movement at all. This was actually the first time seeing Thrice live somehow. They are just so good technically. Just sort of stood there and let the wall of sound envelop me. One thing that stuck out was how big the crowd reaction was to the older songs they played (artist in the ambulance tracks). They have obviously progressed passed Illusion of Safety but man I would love to hear a tour of just those songs. Glad I can finally check Thrice off my concert bucket list.
