I wouldn't really consider that savoury. It's a desert pancake with a side of bacon. That might work for me.

Nope, you only have salt in the batter and grated potatoes, in Sweden we have lingonberries to lots of savory dishes, and its not bacon, its salted pork belly

Edit I forgot it has grated potatoes in the batter too

Yeah, didnt have enough cabbage, and it was fresh white cabbage, regular white cabbage is better. But my best one has been with fresh brussel sprouts actually, I the nutty flavor works great with it, but its a bitch to prepare.

Never tried takoyaki but it sounds interesting

Lol i remember me and my buddies went to Japan and ordered like 2 of those and some noodles but only ate a little bit of them. Felt bad leaving so much leftovers haha but we didnt really like the taste.

I think it's supposed to be smoked here, but often it's just flavored with some smokey aroma instead. Right? Tell me more about how you made the okonomiyaki. I wanna try it

I follow mostly Filip Poons recipe on Kket.se but I mix in dashi powder to the water (I also have more water I think its written wrong).

The cheap brands of bacon here have smoky aroma in it.
