You can invade another player's single player game as an enemy sniper and it's kill or be killed. It's more fun than the game honestly but I wouldn't say it's worth buying the game for unless you were thinking of getting the game already

For any fans of the series or people on the fence, this entry is pretty much more of the same, which isn't bad, but you may be tired of the formula and want to wait for a sale.

This invasion mode is fucking dope though

I did kinda like Sniper Elite V2, and felt the multiplayer was boring and lazy cuz of how... well... NOT integrated it was, so an invasion mechanic could be good.

I did a semi-stealth run of Sniper Elite V2 and there's only ONE place in the game where you can't stealth, and it's the long road on Schoneburg Street

You have to opt in to it.

As in, you can turn it off if you're some sort of helly-like sourpuss

It's really cool but it's fucking stupid how the progression for it is locked to that specific mode, liek yop uget a cool Ghile suit for 100 kills but can't use it in MP or Singleplayer.

Also the level design for this game fucking sucks donkey balls, every map seem really big and open but then there's an invisible wall evey 50 ft that funnels you down an invisible corridor. 4 was so much better than this, it felt more like MGS5 which was a solid direction to take the franchise into but they regressed through it all here.

Love how there's all this gun custimization but no firing range, which the previous game had.

Honestly I enjoyed the multiplayer in 2 alot more the singleplayer, the maps, while somewhat small were intresting and thought out, i had tons of good times playing that with friends.

I agree with your critique Cruddy. It definitely has some glaring flaws but I'm having a blast hunting dudes down and blowing them
