So the same age where the govt decides we are developed enough to be shipped off to fight a war or have consensual sex.

the brain isnt fully developed until mid 20s, well after access to both weed and alcohol is legal. funny that you don't share a similar concern for booze, which actually kills brain cells (hint: weed does not)

Tobacco companies def want legal weed.

They can fairly easily switch to legal weed once it happens and itll be better than cigarettes because theres not as much of a health scare with marijuana as there is cigarettes.

And note, this is not saying weed is healthy, but its better than cigarettes, albeit a low bar.

I'm drunk... but this made me think of a video where they got some retired cops stoned and asked them questions. One was did they think weed was a gateway drug. One cop said you know what I think? Every heroin user I've met started with a glass of milk.
