i usually soak mine in isopropyl (90%) overnight and rinse in the sink. but that's not 100% effective, especially on larger pieces or ones that have a lot of turns / etc.

recently saw something about an 'ultrasonic cleaner' as an alternative. anyone here tried?

eh, i've tried 99% and the difference wasn't noticable over 90%, and the stuff costs like 2x as much.
