The former king, the man known as Lopen, stared at the current king Sbell with something akin to mild interest.

You are scum, Sbell declared as he ordered Lopens execution.

Lopen tilted his head to the side before giving a small smile. But of course I am, your majesty.

The gathered town members let out gasps of surprise. Lopen had been suspected of crimes for awhile now, but for him to brazenly admit it shocked them.

Lopen, for his part, turned to the folk scornfully. Oh, did you not like how I skinned the cat day one? Tough! The strong survive and the weak perish. I care not what you do with my lifeless corpse once this day is done but know this, fools, the cult shall swallow you whole. I tried to bring order to this town of ours. I tried to teach you lessons about respect and authority. Now watch as the cultists band together to and run amok. Then you be begging for my help, but I will be like, super dead!

The town, in their usual manner, didnt pay much heed to the screams of the former mad king and with little additional fanfare made his head take an extended leave of absence from his body.

Lopen has been Executed. He was Mafia Puppet Who Rolecopped N2 & N3

Later that night, as all was quiet, Sultans eyes shot open as he stared down the barrel of a gun.

So its you, Sultan said.

Yes, his attacker replied.

Sultan let out a mirthless laugh. I did pretty good this time, huh?

The attacker shrugged. I guess so. Any last words?

Sultan tilted his head. Just that I am glad I lived up to my flavor. Go fuck yourself, scum.

Sultans brains didnt look as pretty as his final words did, but he at least died satisfied.

Every game before proceedings get under way the mafia team will gather around and look at the player list and go x and y needs to be taken out early or this player can be left alive and manipulated and if mafia has their way then it is probably going to be a long way for town. Sometimes though, there is a player that none of the mafia know and they just push them off to the side. Ive been this person a few times in new communities where post game, after I ruined a mafias well laid plans, I go to the scum board and see I was a question mark. They didnt see me coming. If you play your cards right, this can be you. Make the Mafia suffer for underestimating your ability to turn the tide.

Every night you may target one player. They will be prevented from using any night actions unless otherwise specified. You win with Town

You may not paraphrase or claim your flavor, only your role.

Finally, Kirby has been modkilled for failing his objective. He was Town Sir Chris, Independent Know-It-All. His PM is fully redacted until post game.

I had a thought overnight that maybe they were trying to find the roleblocker who roleblocked one of theirs Night1
But then I realized they could just have been after any form of townprotection

Yeah I guess we will find out what went wrong there in the postgame. No need to speculate about that now.

Lopen and Han both being scum also makes me conflicted about Scare
On one hand he still didn't need to defend either of them.
On the other hand, him defending Han sure looks a lot easier when he looks good if Lopen got killed instead.

has everyone claimed at this point? can't remember if we heard from all of Red, Scare, Mzero, and Death

I am starting to think there just arent any double kills out there

But either way I think scum will just shoot Sbell and Changmas if they do have a double shot

On the plus side, I dont think we will lose much by nolynching NL if we reach Mylo and scum nokills.

I have been busy the last few real days and will be busy again soon

my thought right now is to look at MZero. Lopen had him in the loop of "If these people don't do what I ask Crescent dies" could have been the plan of having Mzero not post so Lopen could kill without issue, blame MZero, and Mzero just said he was busy (and yes me saying I have been busy sparked this thought)

i mean i agree, lopen flipping scum looks a lot worse for mzero than for anyone else imo

it's just too easy to lynch the most inactive.

I think the game dictates we just kill mzero/scare and be done with it either way.

Death can be scum too but we only get to pick two.

I can't put it past you, but you wouldn't be my first choice today, if that makes you feel better.

was Lopen one of the people pro MZero being King day 1?

Han was pretty animated about MZero day 1 iirc, but he threw it out in futured days in what seemed like satire but could have been fishing

lopen did throw him out there yeah, but most people thought that was more of a tactic to prop himself up as a better candidate

gaining literally nothing from day 1 king votals. two Scum were the top candidates and even they didn't realize they needed a clear majority.

We know they didn't fully read most of the rules.

Actually, I wonder if we take kirby dying as modkill or actually dying for his role.

Because his role was independent know it all, he said he was going to guess Scare as scum and end the game.

So what if his role was to bet on who the final scum was(Or maybe guess the entire team at some point), and if he failed he paid for it with death/failure.

The fact it is considered a modkill gives me pause on this theory.

Lopen being scum looks worse for Scare. If Lopen was killed instead of Han, Scare looks better for defending Han and pushing for Lopen instead, thus making Han look better too. Also, iirc Lopen was the only guilty scanning player on Tidus' scum list

Kirby died for "failing his objective" but was also modkilled. Not really sure what to make of that. Failing in of itself doesn't seem like it warrants a modkill. Not much use speculating on it though

Lopen voted me because I 'gut' killed SBell in Elden Ring but walked in back when I said I actually had a read and it wasn't 100% gut. Han sarcastically said I would be a good king if you wanted a king who was absent. Chang I believe voted for me and red I think pushed it at some point as well

Reading it, he died specifically for failing his objective. Modkilled is just what happens to make him die. Basically, no one "killed" him. He just didn't do his objective and it caused him to die.

Yeah, although I'm not sure what to make of you coming in Day 2 declaring your intentions to kill Lopen if kinged. You did back off of it pretty quickly though

Was kinda expecting reasons to suspect me instead of the opposite

Though I dont think I backed off quickly. And in part that was due to nobody else wanting to follow me (besides Plum for some odd reason yeah)

Busy right now, but going to reread back on Lopen and Ulti. Big question regarding lopen is how telegraphed his kill on crescent was. I want to try to figure out exactly when he decided to kill crescent.

Also vigs should never shoot N1 what the hell it always ends badly.
