and why?

I have now a fear of flying so I dont mind the seat as long as Im on land

window seat so i'm not disturbed by others getting our of their seat. i don't care about disturbing others, plus i can get comfier on the side of the plane

Window

window; it has the most space. You don't have to get up to let people in your row out. I have long legs, which makes riding coach a bit tight, so turning my legs inward toward the window is much preferable than getting my knee knocked by the drink cart. Plus I can use a pillow and rest my head on the side wall when sleeping, a bit, which is way more comfortable than sleeping bolt-upright.

Middle is the absolute worst, though. I will straight up pay extra to upgrade just to avoid a middle seat.

Window seat. I like to look out the window when Im awake. I can also lean on the wall to sleep, if needed. And I wont be disturbed when Im sleeping in the plane. Or watching a movie/tv show. Or playing a game. Since I usually try to use the bathroom before boarding, I normally dont have to go. And I feel my personal item (backpack) feels a little safer when by the window Ill actually be on a plane couple of hours

Middle seat, so I can still get a decent view out the window ( if the window seater allows it lol) and also I get to deal with one passenger instead of two if I wanna get out to the aisle.

Aisle. It's easier to get to the bathrooms.

I heard tall people like the aisle for let room, as well

I like looking out. Window for me.

window seat so i can lean my leg against one wall and not be disturbed by people getting into/out of seats. downside is on a long flight i have to squeeze past 2 people to take a piss

aisle seat gives you leg room like the window seat, but you get disturbed by pissers

middle seat gets all the disturbances of the aisle seat but none of the leg room

It's pretty rare for me that someone needs to get up and I like the added leg room

I am currently in an aisle seat. Not super happy. But I guess Im fine since the guy next to me it cute

If I'm flying with my family I prefer window. If I'm alone, aisle.

actually i think it might be window > middle > aisle, at least for longer flights. if you try to sleep in the aisle seat you'll have people bumping into you and waking you up as they walk up and down the aisle

I dont have a preference. To me its all about who Im sitting next to and whether or not theyre going to be a pain while I try to sleep.

Window > Aisle >> Middle

A case can be made for either window or aisle seat, but nobody likes the middle seat best. Middle seat is when youre flying with someone and youre being nice. That or you dont wanna pay extra and get stuck there. Nobody goes middle by choice.

Business or first class is the only way to fly properly, accept nothing less.

What? Business class is only a few hundred dollars more than coach.

First class is expensive but even then the price of a first class ticket would only get you a pretty crappy used car.

Business isn't really a thing on some airlines. Like Comfort+ on Delta isn't business. It's premium economy.

For most, business IS first class.

And I'm always aisle. Like the ability to stretch out more and have direct access when I want to get up.

I have to have a window seat that's near the wings. Less turbulence and if I stare out the window the entire flight I don't get motion sickness

Aisle > Window IMO. I see the appeal of window, but I can't fall asleep on planes or in cars, so window is pretty useless to me. I also drink shit tons of water, so being able to get up to pee whenever I want (as well as just go stretch my legs which I'll do from time to time - go hang out in the back with the flight attendants which they seem to appreciate in my experience (depending on the individual and mood of course)) is pretty clutch. Setting one leg out helps big time too because then you only need space for one leg underneath the seat in front of you, just pay attention so you don't trip anyone

Less important too is being able to get up first and start scouting where my luggage is because I usually forget which compartment I put it in. And I can be aggressive in deplaning vs. relying on others, who are usually too passive and will let people in the back continue to walk out when they're supposed to let us up first.

Aisle is better than window because the urge to take a fat piss while 36,000 feet in the air takes precedent over seeing little dots outside. But I usually choose window anyways.

Aisle cause i got freakishly long legs. Also i dont have to disturb anyone when i get up.

Few hundred bucks lmao. I checked the price difference between a flight from Brisbane to Sydney and its like triple. An international flight business class would easily exceed $4000. That would buy you a usable used car

Aisle so I dont need to wake anyone else up or do that awkward shuffle to pee or to stand up during long flights.

Ive been on so many planes now that I dont need to see outside. It is a little cool while taking off or landing, depending on where youre going, but those 2-minute intervals arent worth the trouble.

Window so I don't have to move when others need to get up.

I like the window but I usually do aisle for leg room if I'm by myself, because I'm tall

I've never been on a plane >.>
