THEGODDAMNBATMA 04/04/22 6:34:21 PM #1:	I've been prescribed them and have been taking them pretty consistently for nearly seven years now. But I'm not addicted, why? I don't crave or need them if I am off them. Out of those seven years, one of them was completely opioid free. I even used to take three a day for six months straight to help me with pain from my cancer treatment, and then immediately stopped taking them (insert that year without them) and didn't feel the need for them or anything. I didn't abuse them, but taking them three times in one day is a lot even though that's the most you're prescribed to take in a day. You'd think doing that would get you hooked, but it didn't. Some people can smoke tobacco recreationally without any issues, others develop a dependence after only a few uses. Opioids are dangerous because a relatively large percentage of the population can develop a strong addiction, not because it always happens. --- And with that...pow!
