We are confident now that existing laws and bylaws are now sufficient to keep people safe" The Governor General will sign off on the revocation and ending it just as all Liberals and NDP voted to affirm the act on Monday and the Senate was in the midst of debating the act on Wednesday but withdrew the motion shortly after he made the announcement The government's decision to invoke the act became controversial leading conservative news outlets to deem Trudeau as HITLER for invoking the act and silencing peaceful conservative protesters.
