The tweeted out the controversial video set to The Sugarhill Gang's Apache song saying "They said i needed money. I have other assets" It has been viewed more than 100,000 times that's apparently meant to garner attention to her campaign as she's trailing frontrunner Wayne Christian, the incumbent who has over 760,000 on hand and voters are set to head to the polls Her video has lost endorsements of one major newspaper and was ridiculed online as one person was confused if she's running for office or auditioning to be a stripper Another suggested if she loses she should join the softcore porn site made famous by Bella Thorne The San Antonio Express News dropped their support stating they expect all people in position of power to model civil discourse and decorum worthy of the public's trust and that this was neither. They are now endorsing another republican candidate, Dawayne Tipon Tipon who is now endorsed by all of the state's largest newspapers said he doesn't fault her for her desparate attempt stating it was a hail mary to energize her campaign But Stogner says it was meant as a joke after finding success on tiktok about leaking oil wells near her home. She didnt plan on this until polls show she was only 3 points behind Christian so the documentary crew thought this would be worth the risk to voters but in the end she didn't realize the backlash it got When the editorial board asked if she was hacked and if the video was faked, she said it was not and that's when they pulled support.
