John Lundvik represented us at Eurovision 2019 with a great song called Too Late For Love and he finished 5th. Now he is back in our national Eurovision selection but the song is a super dated ballad with lyrics so cheesy it is unfathomable. Vra hjrtan slr i takt jag kommer alltid vara din nglavakt = Our hearts beat together I will always be your guardian angel (ugh) Why is he back with this song? Because he is one of the best male vocalists we have in Sweden right now. The Top 2 in each of the 4 pre-heats go to the Final and thankfully this guy got the most votes, with John in 2nd place. These lyrics arent a masterpiece either but the song is a modern BANGER. Make Eurovision weird again.Yeah Johns ballad is very similar to what we loved sending in the 90s while Liams song is modern Sweden in a nutshell. The fav to win Melodifestivalen right now is a girl named Cornelia Jakobs though who won Heat 1.
