34 y/o Amanda Knox, the infamous american who was "wrongly" convicted of the 2007 murder of British student Meredith Kercher has said the massive public interest on Ghislaine Maxwell is partly because the internet wants to VILIFY A WOMAN for SEX CRIMES!!

The 60 y/o was convicted of facilitating the sexual abuse of minors by her former partner Jeffrey Epstein and faces 65 years in the big house

Knox said Maxwell was the "next best thing" to holding Epstein accountable who said "Maxwell was obviously guilty of these terrible crimes and should be held accountable for her crimes. But also, we should be careful and mindful as a society when we have such raging interest in some cases over others. The reason why we really rally cared about this cause was because it was the opportunity to vilify a woman for sex crimes"

She described her own her media coverage n her case where she was portrayed using tropes that relied on "cult imagery" with the vilification of sex and what shocked her was that people cared more about the story than the truth.

She said "And it wasn't like, we didn't know who actually committed the crime, there was copious evidence pointing to Rudy Guede. And yet, the story of this overtly lustful, therefore violent woman, who kills the pure virtuous girl is something that captivated people's attention and they just couldn't let it go"

Knox says the people made her seem like she was the crazy one who committed the murder and the internet couldn't wait to use her as a prop that women can be just as evil as men and to vilify them the same way men are treated in the media
