20 days until we fly

Unless something happens or restrictions gets worse.

Right now we can still go. Restrictions on the island is at level 3 out of 4. But its not that bad, 50% capacity at reataurants, bars etc. They close at 2am.

If the eatablishement have covid pass requirement they can still go wih level 2 of 75% capacity and close at 3am.

I hope we can go. We need this

Oh yeh we gonna be there from January 10 to January 31.

Still viable to travel there without too much hassle or restrictions.

Had anxiety over this since september. We knew that there would be risk needing to cancel. But hope not.

They increased restriction with needing covid pass anywhere they serve food and drinks. No biggie.

We booked it before omicron, but well aware of the risk and possible hassle.

I've a friend who lives out in Gran Canaria - he's back in the UK for Xmas and returns on the 6th. It's unlikely they'll impose severe restrictions due to their reliance on tourism and the only trouble he's had (he is a dual citizen admittedly) over the past two years has been with the UK restrictions. His main complaint out there is that when it was really bad during winter, restaurants were only allowed to have their outside tables available.

Honestly, it shouldn't be a problem but it's understandable why you're fretting about it.

Yeh, obviously it can change over there as well. With holidays it could spread the virus more making them have stricter restrictions.

10 days. Apprently the curfew over this weekend was rejected so its not happening.

Only just a bit, but not enough to have a conversation, Ive been doing some Duolingo, on a 90 day streak but kinda behind. They arent that well with English but this is a touristy place so mostly you could get by with English as far as I know.

Have you looked into how the Covid testing works before you board the flights? I was about to book a flight to Turkey but it requires a 24-hour negative covid test before boarding the return flight--I don't want to have to quarantine there for an extra week (my work would not be cool with that.)

Atm dont think you need but either way if I need to stay there longer its fine for both of us, since we gonna be there for 3 weeks things can change anyway.

Now no more work until February 2! My coworkers tell me they are jealous but theyve been very supportive. Time to clean up at home and start to prepare.

That's a long vacation, have fun!

3 days! Today is packing day, going over to my BF's so I won't be seeing my apartment for a month, mom will come and water my plants so I gotta clean up my place too.

Drinking hot water with lots of honey, just in case....

Stay for second hotel is paid (first 3 days we gonna be at a more expensive one all inclusive just to chill and have time to explore, it is paid when we get there).

Done the Spanish Health Form that you have to do, my bfs went well.

But I messed mine up, could not scan in my Covidpass, so entered the info manually which would make getting out of airport a bigger hassle, I reallzed I had forgotten my middle name so it did not match my covidpass. And cant redo it once it was completed. Emailed them and got a response in a minute saying I can make a new one with a different ID number, used my personal id number first, now I used my passport number, entered my middle name and it accepted the covid pass.

I got so stressed out man.

Had another panic moment with middle names, forgot them when we booked our flight and to change names it would be $65 per person and trip.

But I called them and they could change it free of charge.

1 day! In 24h well be at the airport.

Woo hoo.

Man had another scare. Read new rules from January 6, need a positive PCR test from High Risk countries to enter. But we are only a risk country so not needed. Phew.

They will take temp and see we are healthy when landing tho
