It's definitely #10. That's Feena from Grandia, one of my favorite games of all time. Square-Enix was definitely not involved with the creation of that game.

Oh you're right, that is Star Ocean. I barely remember the characters from that game. Star Ocean though, has only ever been published by SE. The developer has always been Tri-Ace.

That makes multiple games that SE did not develop. I'm not sure how you could say that only one of these is not a "Square-Enix Character"

well originally it was just #7 but i made a mistake with #10 since square did not publish the first grandia so i'll accept that answer too. but still more than 30% got it wrong

pretty easy, it's 7

1 looks like from one of 3DS rpgs
2 has Dragon Quest artstyle
3 from ffxiv i guess
4 is tomomi kobayashi's artstyle, definitely SaGa series. looks like her art from the 90's
5 has Mana series artstyle
6 is from Valkyrie series
8 from octopath?
9 idk where this from, but still has SE feel
10 is from Grandia
