War and Peace
Alls Quiet on the Western Front
The House of the Seven Gables
Navies in the Mountains
Fabulous Bawd

Many books about local/regional Geography.

And I was gifted a book called, I Know this Looks Bad, which is interesting.

....Also, books one and two of The Well-Tempered Clavier, of course.

Title intrigued me, so I looked it up. The synopsis is missing in Wikipedia but everything else looks super intriguing. Added to my dream book list (which is hundreds of books long )

I've read it too. It is very artful and packed with metaphors.

Not sure the value though if you don't read Neitzches' regular treatises before it with it. You may get something out of it regardless.

Another life changing book I will mention is Jung's Liber Novus/Red Book. I have a massive hard bound illuminated manuscript version.

For short stories, all of Joyce's Dubliners but specifically The Dead and Eveline.

Slaughter House Five by Vonngeut, On the Road by Kerouac, and Howl by Ginsberg are some other things I will toss out as general favorites.
