i went to check the mail today and there was an unexpected package on my front porch addressed to me. i opened it and it was something i definitely did not order, so someone must have sent it to me as a gift. it contains something i do not want or need so i'm honestly kind of annoyed that i received it because now i need to deal with it either by throwing it away (which makes me feel bad for being wasteful) or donating it (which takes time out of my day).

this makes me feel like a horrible person because i should be grateful that someone was trying to be nice. <_<

edit: and there's also the potential awkwardness of the person who gave it to me noticing that i haven't used it and asking about it.

it's about as useful to me as a dildo. meaning i have zero use for it. actually, a dildo could be used as a club / home defense tool so that would actually be more useful than this thing

Are you sure someone ordered it for you? It could be credit fraud. Had that happen years ago where for some reason they ordered stuff with my card but had it sent to my address in my name.

well, no. but i closely monitor all of my credit cards and i get texts every time one gets used. i haven't seen any unexpected charges.
