All the different Meisters and weapons, hunting down Halloween ghoulies with the goal of defeating Ashura. The snake lady is a lategame boss, and Crona joins your team late in the game. Your MC is Maka, who does actually talk unlike the Persona protagonists, and you have social links with the main Meisters and Weapons.
I feel like this could be a great mod for an existing Persona game, like there's already something so spooky about Persona 3. You could fight Pyro Jacks and other spooky Halloween critters. If I had any skill with ren'py or like a game engine that could do RPG stuff, I'd want to make something like this.
There was a while there where I was using a freeware game development program to try and make a 2D RPG overworld. I made some early tilesets and a couple character sprites, and I tried to code in like overworld movement but that's where I tripped up.
