lol so apparently the devs disabled all forms of wealth transfers (trading, buying items in the game, etc.) but then that spawned a *new* glitch. https://forums.newworld.com/t/company-treasury-exploit/487252

Basically, the game map is split up into multiple territories, each territory has a fort and a town. A player-owned company fights to control a town, which grants control of the whole territory, and then gets to tax other players for things they do in that town (housing, crafting, trading, etc.), make upgrades in that town (like higher level crafting stations), etc.

Apparently now when you go to make an upgrade in the town, the game just gives you more money for some reason and doesn't actually start the upgrade... lmao.

Anecdotally yes. I have heard of people getting refunds on Steam when they have been well above the 2 hour limit.

I haven't tried yet though.

Well, I just went ahead and submitted a Refund Request, chose the Steam Wallet option (figured I might have a better shot if they are just giving me "store credit" instead of refunding the actual amount of money).

Had 30 hours of play time, 17 achievements, last played 6 October.

Here was my justification: There are too many serious glitches in the game that allow players to become invincible in PVP, duplicate items, or even force your hardware to operate contrary to settings just through simple chat options. I don't feel comfortable playing this game any more due to how insecure it is.

Let's see what happens.

It actually kind of bugs me that I own like 1300 games on Steam, dumped enough money into it to reach level 136, and purchased a lot of stuff on their points shop and I think only ever requested a refund once or twice, and yet they denied this? ... I haven't even played the game since it launched.
