Two different questions but they seem like they're asking the same thing?

1 - Determine the values of x, 0 <= x < 2pi, such that cos(x) equals (square root of three) divided by 2.

2 - List all values of x such that cos(x) equals (square root of three) divided by 2.

How do these differ?

The only thing I can think of is maybe the first is asking what the periodicity / recurrence rate is in the first one and then the second is asking what the specific angle measurement would be. Or maybe the other way around...

Get your circle graph of trig values out and use that

How do you get pi/6, 5pi/6 and the others? I calculated out pi/3, 2pi/3 >_>

Though I plugged your values in and they were all correct so now I have to spend half an hour figuring out wtf I am doing wrong.

Big part of it is that stupid square root of 3 tripping me up.

edit: I am so stupid, I kept running arccosine and then treating the result as if it were from the actual cosine function instead of just taking it as the degree measurement and running with it -_-. Thanks @Garioshi
