My biggest take away from it is I'd like to see a remake or something that's basically a combination of both movies.

Worth watching the remake with Jane whatserface if you haven't too. Pretty much straightup horror and gory as holy hell.

Without spoiling anything, there's an episode in season one of Ash vs Evil Dead where Ash and his compadres stop at a diner. It is one of my favorite episodes of the show.

With spoilers: a kid gets thrown into a ceiling fan and gets absolutely destroyed by it - "destroyed" being the only way I can do it justice - and Ash cuts a Deadite's face off in strips with a deli slicer.

Also, Lucy Lawless is in the show!

Unpopular opinion but Fedes Evil Dead with Levy is the best movie in the series.

It would have been if it werent for the Bruce Campbell cameo at the credit roll.

Damn, now Im having a hard time thinking of anything worse than that. Like, I was gonna say its comparable to having an old timey cartoon clown jump out of the screen and start dancing & laughing before the credits roll... but that would have actually been awesome. Instead we got to see a bad screen test that didnt go anywhere.

Ash vs Evil Dead is cool but its made for the Paranormal age group
stark contrast, for example, to the Evil Dead remake. Which I liked enough

in like a TCM kind of way
