Gonna get a new TV. Mostly for console gaming and Netflix/streaming.
I'm someone who doesn't notice a huge difference in the sets on the wall at Target or whatever, but I do care about overall picture quality, input lag, etc to some degree. Thinking 55" for the space I have. Price doesn't matter but I'd imagine I can get something decent for $1000 or $1500 or so. Hell probably get something solid for $500. At certain point it's diminishing returns, so I'm not looking to drop $8000 on a TV that only looks and performs marginally better than a $2000 set, which only performs marginally better than a $1200 set and so forth. Does he like it? I've read arguments in favor of OLED vs LED and vice versa it's such a pain in the ass choosing one.

yeah, I went over to help him set it up and its fucking incredible compared to my piece of shit $400 4k Samsung. Definitely gonna bring my ps5 over there when I get home from Albuquerque
