One of the best action movies ever made imo.
g0ldie posted... I liked it, but I preferred the second, which I'd rank a lot higher. Nah man 2 has pacing issues and is disjointed all over the place, where the first one is a smooth ride that doesn't stop. --- Oda break tracker 2021- 5 (4) | THE Ohio State: 7-1 | Las Vegas Raiders: 8-8 ... the second one resonated with more with me, and I really dug its action and setpieces.

At the top. Never saw anything like it before with unrelentless energy and masterfully done fight choreography. Nothing has surpassed it since.
Raid 2 is superb but that felt more like a Godfather crime story than a martial arts movie. --- New York Rangers [2004-2008] https://media.giphy.com/media/WvQHBYW0q4TuxdAg61/giphy.gif https://psnprofiles.com/Jaromiroquai68 ... Copied to Clipboard!

Both movies are my favorite martial arts movies, but I am not an expert in the field.
After several rewatches, I prefer The Raid 2 a little more than the original. I prefer the additional time spent developing the story and the characters/villains, it gives the fights a little more weight. --- Hello world! ... Copied to Clipboard!
