I think if you are an older male you may be able to relate to "the times" back then but it was essentially guys dont cry, they get mad and that was deemed ok. Ive always wondered if this was damaging. It was generally seen as weird/awkward and or pathetic for a guy to cry and they were seen as weak for doing so. Is it still so? But it can be damaging when you are sad but just feel blank or passive about the issue cause thats how you address sad things that could make you cry or instead you just get angry about it because thats ok.
