children who cant practice delayed gratification are less successful later in life.

Capcom was conditioning us to be the best version of ourselves by holding back the armor before we put in the effort to earn the whole thing.

I highly disagree.

Alia's constant nagging makes the game generally unplayable.

Rescuing Reploids should have never been a thing.

Stage design is pretty bad. Not X6 bad, but bad. Kraken/Adler is horrible. The lava section of DinoRex. Whale's auto-scrolling.

Boss AI is decent with the exception of Grizzly. OST is good, but I still prefer X4's to a degree. Falcon Armor is great can't argue there. Sadly the Gaea Armor is overshadowed.

Tbh I cant even remember what rescuing reploids did in 5 lol. I thought they just refilled your life and sometimes gave extra lives.

I know 6 and 7 they started gating important upgrades behind missable reploids lol

Yup they refilled health and gave 1-ups. However whenever you got a game over and retry the game puts you back right where you died making the extra lives (and life booster in Firefly) irrelevant.

and yeah in 6 and 7 they can die. 7 more annoying as it can happen off screen.

The X series story is such a mess now that they should honestly retcon everything post X4.

I mean, Sigma should have been killed off long ago, and his eventually appearance each game arguably almost always ruined what would have been a decent story, and antaganis you learn was being used by sigma.

X1-X5 and X1-X8 are considered different continuities already. X5 was meant to be the last until Capcom (without Inafune) felt they needed a cash grab and made X6 in less than a year (and it shows).

He revives himself via other bodys he created that finally ran out the last MX game. Where he supposedly had finally run out of bodys and is gone for good.
