It combines my two biggest weaknesses: jrpgs and collectathons (sort of).
no seriously, if youre going to have a loot/crafting system, static material instances is the way to go. The world design is a bit of a clusterfuck, but in a good way. Its so easy to get (proverbially) lost exploring all the little areas off the beaten path. i never knew I needed this game in my life >_> --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I tried it, but it wasn't for me. I know old school games don't hold your hand, but when your progress can be stopped because you miss one hidden area in a wall or something it gets tedious. Plus stat growth is broken, at least early on. I bought a new weapon, gained 5 levels and put alot of points in strength and I wasn't doing any more damage to the same enemies as before.

Yeah I can see that. I personally love digging into every nook and cranny in these kinds of RPGs, but the game certainly isn't perfect in that regard. As for the stats, though, I don't think I had that problem. For my first few levels I pumped all my points into strength, and the charged arrow was making significant damage increases. (Enough that I grinded a few levels in the "tutorial" area until her charge shot could OHKO the armored bugs lol. Didn't take that long, actually) --- she/her https://imgur.com/mptS9Qj ... It really good IMO. Unique and well thought setting with simple, but fun combat and excellent presentation.
Also build lita as a critical hitter. I managed to make her have 90% crit chance and she wrecks absolutely everything. --- http://i.imgtc.com/iJyp6bF.png http://i.imgtc.com/ZBw36Qh.png Thanks for the peeps that made the pics <3 if i make typos it means i am on phone ... Copied to Clipboard!
