On one hand, I will never get used to this soft, clean, friendly aesthetic the franchises character designs have moved towards. By generation 11 all the characters are just going to be big marshmallows. I want my gritty, angular, water-colors back, damn it! At least Todd is hot.

on the other hand, this game is chill as fuck. I only just unlocked the jungle level, but I love how much stuff they crammed into the courses, and the Pokemon all have so much personality. My jaded ass is trying to find ways that the original Snap is superior, so far my only nitpick is that I havent seen any cool, obvious landmarks that you know youll be interacting with later. But Im only on the second stage and I havent even unlocked whatever this games version of the pester balls are, so well see >_>
