I don't think that there's a PF Chang's in the area, so I'm only familiar with Panda Express, whose food I like, from what I've had.

ive never had pf chang.

Panda Express is garbage. but i live in a place with lots of chinese restaurants so i dont know who would bother going there unless they were at the mall or something.

Never had PF Changs.

Normally get the orange chicken and teriyaki chicken at Panda. Their honey sesame isnt bad either.

Chow mein at PE is kind of a joke because it's cheap ramen noodles.

I can only speak for how it is in my city, but Panda Expresses are all in food courts like at the student union at the college or in the mall or the airport. PF Changs is a bonafide restaurant in my city in a stand alone building (a really nice one with fancy decor I might add).

I've eaten at both, though I don't frequent either of them, but PF Changs has better food but more expensive. Panda Express is when you want something quick and cheap, while PF Changs is a place you go on a date or have business meetings at.
