Agreed. It was my first FF, and it's still the best one. 6 and 7 were close, but 9 had so much charm and I fucking love it. 12 is actually my second favorite, weirdly enough, and that one's...lacking...in charm.

No, it's a lot slower than every other Final Fantasy. The ATB fills at Slow sleep in 7 and 8. Auto-Haste is a MUST just to save your own sanity But yeah, it's an amazing game. The only thing I don't like are all the. . .what were they called? When you cut to other scenes.
