The kaiju action is good...when it happens. Hell, when the humans are actually doing things, even without kaiju, it's pretty good. But fuck I'm six episodes in and it feels like 90 percent of this show has been people musing about theoretical science. Yes yes it was very wacky but it wasn't worth an entire episode of buildup. It's just neat it's not a fucking revelation. >_> Fuck an episode later and they're still milking it and adding more details like gosh! This show does not need to be 13 episodes. But I can't drop it because when the good shit happens it actually is really good. But the "mystery" angle they've got going on is just not nearly as captivating as they think it is. I love it. People had the same concerns about Gatchaman Crowds but that turned out great.
