so many Pokmon that are almost cool, ruined by some miscellaneous detail.

Lets give the big muscle guy varicose veins.

Lets give the earthquake frog a bunch of pimples.

Lets give the dog a goofy mustache.

At least Gen 8s Pokmon had the decency to be garbage so you dont have to stress about what could have been.

Honestly its pretty cute. Fun way to make a stalactite Pokmon. The straw is kind of weird, but then, Machoke has a belt so whatever.

Eh, the babies are probably the only designs I've ever disliked. The rest are just whatever, they are what they are.

I dont like most new Pokmon designs but this one is all right. Its basically an icy Weezing.

Conkeldurr and Seismitoad were always some of the ugliest ones. At least they got awesome Pokemon like Chandelure, Golurk, Cofagrigus, Galvantula, Hydreigon, and Volcarona. Cincinno, Whimsicott, Lilligant, Victini, and Meloetta are cute af too.

Watchog, Basculin, Maractus, and the monkeys shouldn't exist though.

Gen 8 also had some solid ones like Copperajah, Hatterene, Grimmsnarl, Frosmoth, and Corviknight.

Stoutland was the only design in the Lilipup line that was ugly. No idea why they went that route design-wise.
