I eventually grew to tolerate them, but as a kid they looked too...idk, soft. Like those cheap rubber dollar store toys where the only articulation was rotating the arms.
I preferred the Marvel cartoons at the time because they looked cooler. >_> Static Shock was the only decent looking DCAU show (it crossed over it counts). --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I liked the shows themselves but I've never liked Bruce Timm's artistic style.
