Except the cops testified that they had announced themselves before breaking in. And literally every neighbor and the victims say they never announced.

So they.....went through all of the trouble to get a no-knock warrant and went against the basic definition of the warrant for...reasons?

And the whole being in plainclothes thing. A no-knock warrant? By a group of armed people out of uniform? That don't announce they are police?

They murdered that woman, punished her partner for defending their home with a legal weapon, and then all of his "charges" were dropped because neither he nor Breonna Taylor did anything fucking wrong.

Because everyone who fired their weapon was justified in doing so. They thought they were under attack from a suspect and the boyfriend thought someone was breaking in. I dont feel like either of them are the bad guy here.

I mean, S+S are a giant company with hundreds of distribution deals. Books certainly aren't being reviewed on a book by book basis. The publisher says they want them distributed, S+S does it.

I'm not saying they are the good guys. Just that they are an unfeeling corporate machine.

Yeah it's probably time to force them to review their deals.

And I looked up the Hawley thing, originally they were legitimately the publisher and backed off, but then Regnery picked it up and well...S+S is the distributor for Regnery as well.

Police returned fire after being fired at first by her boyfriend, defending themselves. She was killed in crossfire, they didn't mean to kill her, don't even think they knew she was in there. Unfortunate situation. On the subject of Breonna Taylor though, some recent news:
