I got my first twitch check today

I can safely leave my job now

This is part of streaming big. You have to give up any sensibilities of what a normal person wants to look at and cram as much garbage text and graphics onto the screen as possible.

he has a legit little following that will watch him play weird crap no matter what and still love him

That only happens when I play Fighting games, anything else barely anyone tunes in now lol

Overwatch used to be okayish, I used to actually get a bunch of followers from THAT of all things (Apparently because barely anyone plays the Arcade games on twitch)

but yea, that faded a few months ago

if I were to get "serious" i just need to buckle down on FGs

and yea, fix up my stream stuff

I KNOW what needs to be done
....but will I do it? (probably not)

I dunno didn't you want to sell sprites and stuff for a living? Getting a dedicated following playing FG or whatever game draws in the crowds and having goods you made associated with that particular game seems like a good way to build both your Twitch brand and business to me.

But I don't know jack about streaming so I don't know if twitch allows their streamers to sell merch or whatever.

Several months to make $100? "Online influencer" has gotta be the most competitive job in the world.

Yea thats gonna happen

Twitch is something super duper casual on the side

but yea, you can make them feed into each other after a certain point, this I'm aware of

I've always believed that becoming big on Twitch IS a far off dream, but its even MORE far off if thats ALL you do. I feel like most people became influencers else where (YT, Twitter, etc) and THEN jumped on the stream train and are decent at it
