Nostalgia can be bitch sometimes. One of the my favorite scenes in all of anime is the two lead characters meeting face-to-face for the first time and spending the whole scene civilly discussing the merits of their opposing ideologies. And really it's worth watching just for some of Yang's antics, like arguing that humans have been drinking alcohol for thousands of years, which makes alcohol a friend, and he can't abandon a friend; or giving this really half-assed speech about only being able to drink good tea while still alive, and using that to rally his comrades because he's bad at giving speeches and he has to say something just so he can get out of that situation as quickly as possible. That being said, I took a leap and saw the first season of One Punch Man, and I really liked it. So I recommend that one. Not many other than those 2 have I really loved or even been able to get into.
