So.
Frustrating.

Also the "fix the glitch" videos they have on YouTube are false advertising. One guy's "glitch" was just that he's bad at the game and kept dying, so he lowered his difficulty level. Another guy just shows you how to play the quest ... and says "That should fix the glitch!" but he never actually talks about the glitch.

What's wrong with people peddling false hope.

Without spoilers, what's the glitch and when does it happen in the game? I've been playing this for a while and I'm hoping I'm already past it so I don't need to worry about it

When you unlock the Shaman's hut you unlock a quest to drink a potion and go to like a dream world. Hard to say "when it happens" because you can technically go there whenever you want after you get that hut.

This world has its own area to explore and questline to complete.

One of the quests is to help a guy put some warding spell up. The quest is to basically defeat attackers until he can finish, except you can kill everything and not trigger the ending to the quest.

If you step outside the mission boundaries you die, but you can apparently fast travel to cancel that buff. You just... can't advance in the quest if you do that (I went around and killed everyone).

OK, so it seems like if you step outside the boundaries of the mission when you're supposed to be defending it breaks the scripting because the guy you're with stops saying shit and nothing really happens afterwards.

Thankfully there was an auto save from before that part of the quest so I was able to reload it and stay the fudge away from the boundary and it worked.

My advice is when you're in that area just save after every quest -_-

I got one that would make you fall through the ground after 2 seconds of loading in. If you're quick enough you can fast travel as soon as you get control, but that was a temporary fix as I fell through again after leaving town and it just automatically reloads and does it again.

I also had to use a previous autosave.

Lmao so far I've only been stuck falling infinitely once, and it was weird when I finally did die because ... well, nothing had changed. And I was only trying to jump about three feet down -_-.

Had another weird glitch - there's a Mystery where you have to rescue someone from a building, except the guy wasn't in the building. I was really confused by it all... came back later and he was already outside and thanking me. So at least they fixed that.
