Though it's quite the dead horse, the Gillette commercial in particular was really stupid because it displayed normal roughhousing as if two children play fighting is inherently bad. Single motherhood is at all time highs so must boys lack farther figures. Female teachers or daycare workers vastly outnumber man. And even then male teachers or just males in general have a negative stigma around children in society and arent trusted. Hell even in cartoons I've noticed nowadays that most are female lead with the woman generally possesing the characteristics you'd expect of young boys like being head strong, powerful, adventurous, tough and usually are the first ones to show initiative.
