We can't determine that from where we are in the universe (billions of years after creation and with billions of galaxies in every direction from us). The universe could have an end, or it could not. the truth is they don't know how vast it is. there's a lot of assumptions we make about the universe based on looking at specks of light at incredibly far distances. there could be stuff behind the stars they're looking at that they can't see. there could be a multiverse. they just don't know and we'll likely probably never know
