They explicitly go out of their way to say that S42 is NOT a subsidiary product from SC because it lets them abuse tax structures more. They're currently under a (suspended) lawsuit with Crytek because they only licensed their engine out to be used on SC and since S42 is "a different product by a different company" they're in violation of the license agreement. The lawsuit is being dropped because S42 is literal years past release date and Crytek doesn't want to keep paying lawyers when the lawsuit can't be completed until the game actually releases.
