Zikten 12/21/20 4:22:28 PM #1:	the major theme idea I always think of when trying to imagine future mario games is time travel. I know there is "Mario's Time Machine" but that's not really a real Mario game. and I mean like an actual normal platformer adventure. Mario's Time Machine was Edutainment. I'm thinking your basic 3d mario game like 64, galaxy, sunshine or Oddysey, where you collects stars but the gimmick revolves around traveling through different ages of time. kinda like in Sonic CD. but you would solve puzzles and reach stars by jumping around in time as you navigate the course. in each time period the course would be different and you might need to jump back and forth multiple times before reaching a star, avoiding obstacles that only exist in one period for example. or something like that. I have this idea in my head but it's kinda hard to explain maybe. but I envision puzzles where sometimes mario has to time jump in the middle of a jump or something. like he leaps over a pit and then warps to the past to avoid a wall, and then warps back to the future after he clears the wall and lands on the other side of the pit. something like that <cite>Zikten posted [p:948610362] in what is a ... Not like skyrim I mean but like a game where all the areas are interconnected so it has more an adventure feel instead of collectathon level based.
