I feel like almost every with a large, open map has people whining that its just a big empty field with nothing to do!

but like...what games are there where that isnt the case? And how many of *those* games have content that isnt just generic bullshit nobody cares about? >_>

like what is this golden standard for open world map design that apparently hasnt been matched in 30 years? >->
