I looked it up, and her and her husband went into the house of a sex offender and just killed him and his wife. They didn't catch him in the act actively molesting a kid or anything, he apparently committed his crime years ago.

The woman and her husband are also Neo-Nazis with a bunch of white power tats.

Was the victim really an actual pedophile, or was he a "I dont like what you said on Facebook so you're a pedophile" type "pedophile"?

He was apparently a registered sex offender who it looks like did harm a kid. This couple I guess found him on the registry and decided to kill him for it.

If this is the woman I'm thinking of, she and her husband (both Neo-Nazis) killed a guy (and his wife) who sexually assaulted a 31 year old mentally handicapped woman. He also plead guilty back in the 90's to sexually assaulting a child.

I think her and her and husband pretended their car broke down asked for help, then kidnapped and killed them when they tried to help. Essentially they wanted to kill someone and decided they would kill this particular guy because he was on the sex offender list in hopes that they could get off on the guise "saving the children".

I saw an episode of Night Visions like this recently.

The apartment building is terrified of the new neighbor that moves in because they all got a notice he's a sex offender. They wind up killing him. Turns out the police department got the address wrong and they killed the wrong person >_>

What an odd story. I mean, it's not like they killed a pedo that molested someone they knew. They went straight Dexter on the guy(without the whole cutting him into little pieces part). Where the story goes a bit off the rails is when they killed the wife. Guilt by association I guess? Or maybe they just wanted to murdered some people and figured they'd use "he's a pedo" as a potential get-out-of-jail-free card if they got caught? Hard to say.

One of the prime issues with vigilantism is how often it is prone to escalate in wrongfully targeting people merely accused or mistaken for a perpetrator. Real life is not suspense films and comics. Real life vigilantism makes A LOT OF MISTAKES that can easily turn into a violent crossfire against innocent bystanders. Vigilantes may start with actual criminals, but are very likely to broaden their definition of guilty over time as they begin to interpret themselves as judge and jury through kneejerk rationalizations. They have a tendency to start out as someone who wanted to be a hero, but gradually evolves into an unapologetic thug who tries to mask violent sociopathy behind an illusion of being a crusader.

I'm not really surprised to hear this murderous couple has an unhinged history. If the charges against the murdered were valid, at best this couple were monsters who killed another monster. Behind bars is where they would belong either way.

Killing the wife? Absolutely not. Killing the pedo? Ehh. I don't think Frank would care.

This might be controversial to say but even if he was a p***, I don't think he deserves death unless it's serial behavior. And certainly not from these two people, but actual law punishment. I feel like if we treated it as a psychological condition more and weren't so quick on the gun to judge people, they might open up more and seek therapy before harming someone. But yes, at some point redemption goes out the window
